My Baby iPod

Dying to have this white candy bar for a long time, finally it has reached my hands! yeay yeay! But why iPod shuffle? there are so many other mp3 players out there that are better in functions than this and also it's much cheaper. Well, simply 2 words explain it all. IT'S WHITE! haha!

Yea, just because it's white, so i bought it. Besides, it looks very simple and neat, dun u think so? Nicely curved, cutting-edge technology(haha just kidding), great sound and volume control, ahhh... it's too good to be true. I love my baby!

The packaging is a real killer. U see it, u want it. And again, it looks simple and neat, with a shuffle sign on the bottom left of the box and an Apple logo on the upper right, no words are needed.

How much did i pay for? eee.. how should i say this: My cousin bought a new laptop, so the shop owner offered to sell this iPod Shuffle at a very cheap price, definitely below market value - RM200. So, lovely cousin of mine, having a business mind, bought it over and sold to me at RM280, considered cheap? I think market price is at RM400 now? It's only a 512MB btw.

So why lovely cousin of mine doesn't keep it to herself? Apparently, she and macho husband are in their 30s already, so they said "Where got time listen to mp3? sleep is more important. Do u see uncles and aunties wearing white earphones? haha!" Anyway, i dunno how she manage to get such low price of RM200. It might be smuggled? black market? But i dun care... it's pretty and it's functioning and it's in my hands now wahhahaha!

So, how does it work? Everything is done through USB. U have to plug it into the USB port for transferring music, and also to charge the battery. Meaning that whenever u 'cucuk' it into the USB port, it automatically charges the battery (Lithium-ion). Battery life can bring u up to 12 hours of continuous music according to Apple. For 2 continuous days i fell asleep with music on, and it's not dead yet. I think it all depends on the volume, the louder it is, the more the battery drains.

On the backside/buntut, is a sliding switch to turn on the iPod Shuffle. Slide it down slightly will bring u to 'sequence' mode, and slight a lil more down will bring u 'shuffle' mode. Below the sliding switch is the battery indicator. How does it works? Press the lil indicator and a LED light will illuminate for 5 secs in either Green(Good), Amber(Moderate), or Red(Time to charge).

No LCD nor color LCD for the iPod Shuffle. But as a music lover, i dun think there's a need to show the song title or singer. U gotta know it by memory! erm.. no equalizer too, but i think Apple configured it to produce a very balance sound, it's great, really.

Overall, i rate it 5 over 5! it's the best mp3 player (for myself) with an undefeatable design + color. Wanna try it out? come over to my house, i'll willingly lend it to u for.................... 30 seconds! hahahha!
